Meijer, a family-focused retailer, seeks a Team Member to help deliver an exceptional shopping experience across our departments. The role includes directing daily work, mentoring teammates, and supporting training to uphold Meijer standards.

You will engage customers, maintain product freshness, and ensure safety compliance while contributing to store profitability and a positive work environment.

Qualificações

• Passion for customer service with total engagement that conveys approachability to customers and fellow team members.
• Initiates interactions with customers and peers.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; Retail or other customer service experience preferred.
• Creative thinking skills; Ability to influence others.
• Ability to quickly build rapport and gain customer confidence to create repeat business.

Responsabilidades

• Engaging peers to provide the best possible shopping experience for our customers, including an exceptional checkout experience.
• Communicating with team members and assigning daily work tasks.
• Mentoring and coaching other team members to ensure customer service and sales goals are exceeded.
• Supports training new team members and cross-training high-potential talent.
• Assists with department schedule writing to focus on engagement and profitability.
• Ensures freshness of products by monitoring rotation and dating policies.
• Guides the team in food safety standards and safe work practices.
