Marshalls is seeking a customer-focused team member to deliver a superior shopping experience at our Evanston store. You will engage customers, process transactions accurately, and keep the sales floor clean and organized while supporting loss prevention standards.

Responsibilities include promoting credit and loyalty programs, maintaining merchandising standards, and participating in safety and store recovery efforts. Flexible scheduling and strong communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service skills.
• Able to work a flexible schedule to support business needs.
• Strong communication and organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Capable of multi-tasking.
• Able to respond to changes in direction or unexpected situations.
• Capable of lifting heavy objects with or without reasonable accommodation.

• Retail customer experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Role models established customer experience practices with internal and external customers.
• Supports and embodies a positive store culture through honesty, integrity, and respect.
• Accurately rings customer purchases/returns and counts change back to customer according to established operating procedures.
• Promotes credit and loyalty programs.
• Maintains merchandising standards and follows procedures.
• Processes and prepares merchandise for the sales floor.
• Maintains store cleanliness and safety standards.
• Provides and accepts feedback and recognitions.
• Adheres to labor laws and company policies.
• Supports shrink reduction goals and programs.
• Participates in safety awareness and maintains a safe environment.
• Other duties as assigned.
