Responsibilities
  • Ensure all crew members deliver excellent customer service through personal contact and training on the B.E.S.T. customer service experience, ensuring quick, friendly checkout experiences.
  • Lead the store to meet and maintain customer service score goals set by the District Manager.
  • Oversee front-end operations, merchandising, equipment maintenance, and associate training.
  • Manage opening and closing procedures, store cleanliness, recovery, and readiness for customers.
  • Perform store manager duties in their absence.
  • Partner with the store manager to recruit, train, coach, develop, and supervise crew members.
  • Review corporate communications and respond appropriately.
  • Collaborate with the leadership team on merchandising and store recovery procedures.
  • Perform store maintenance tasks as needed.
Qualifications
  • High School diploma or equivalent; college experience preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of management experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to multi-task, think creatively, and maintain composure under pressure.
Essential Job Functions
  • Operate cash register frequently.
  • Move merchandise up to 25 lbs and reach heights of 5-10 feet.
  • Ascend/descend ladders to retrieve and store stock.
  • Position self to kneel, bend, twist, and stoop regularly.
  • Communicate effectively with customers, managers, and coworkers.
  • Assist customers across the sales floor and in the stock room.
  • Work flexible hours, including days, evenings, weekends, and possibly overnight shifts and travel.
  • Identify and follow instructions via email and print.
  • Remain stationary and upright for 80% of the time.
