Job summary

Textron Aviation in Orlando, FL offers a 2027 Internship - Customer Support (Engagement). You will support the service center, coordinate hotel/transportation/meals, and greet visitors while directing them to the proper contact.

The internship features face-to-face, telephonic, and written interactions, with mentorship and real project work. It runs 10 weeks full‑time from late May to early August and requires on-site work at a Textron location.

Qualifications

• Proficient in use of standard office equipment and Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams).
• Experience with multiline telephone
• Excellent communication skills – verbal and written.
• Professional demeanor and ability to accept instructions and directions.
• Customer relations and interpersonal skills.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain an airport security badge through the local airport authority, if applicable.
• Ability to work 1 weekend day with limited direct supervision

Responsibilities

• Ensure Customer Business Center is clean, organized, and equipment is presentable in customer accessible areas
• Provide excellent service to all customers, and follow proper phone procedures and etiquette.
• Ensure refreshment area is clean and stocked, and greet customers in a friendly manner
• Provide customers with assigned work‑spaces and internet access information, as requested
• Provide customer assistance in obtaining reservations for transportation, lodging, meals etc. and negotiate corporate discounted rates.
• Offer information on local attractions, restaurants, and events in the area
• Assists customers with use of courtesy car, per approved standard operating procedure
• Ensures all visitors sign in and wear corporate approved visitor badge
• Flight tracking duties via FlightAware FBO Toolbox; to include but not limited to inbound and departing customers.
• Proactively update and maintain visitor log input in customer preference data base, currently View360, with input from Customer Service Managers for each departing customer
• Provides assistance on process improvement projects as business need arises, and other responsibilities as required
