Job summary

Atlantic Plywood Corporation is seeking a Customer Service Team Leader to direct our customer service and inside sales operations. You will coach a team, ensure accurate pricing, and serve as a key resource for customers, sales teams, and internal departments.

The ideal candidate will have strong leadership, deep product knowledge in hardwood plywood and related building materials, and a track record of operational excellence to support revenue growth in a growing employee-owned company.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years inside sales, customer service leadership, or sales operations management in building products/ wholesale lumber or distribution.
• High School Diploma required; Associate or Bachelor’s preferred.
• Strong knowledge of plywood grades, panel goods, hardwood plywood, laminates, veneers, cabinet hardware, and related materials.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop Inside Sales Representatives and Customer Service Representatives with clear performance expectations.
• Establish and monitor KPIs, service standards, and accountability measures to improve customer satisfaction and outcomes.
• Oversee daily inside sales operations: quotes, order processing, pricing support, inquiries, and account management.
• Monitor order entry, fulfillment, and delivery to ensure smooth execution from inquiry to delivery.
• Collaborate with Outside Sales to grow accounts and reactivate dormant customers.
• Provide technical product guidance on hardwood plywood, softwood plywood, MDF, veneers, laminates, and related building materials.
