Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent education/experience.
• At least 6 months cashier experience working at a Customer Service Desk.
• Must be 18 years or older (19 in select states) and able to pass a drug test.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle weekends/overtime.
• Ability to organize and prioritize tasks with accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and encourage others to deliver excellent customer service.
• Perform cashier functions: open/close register, ring sales, tender transactions, bag purchases.
• Maintain price discrepancy logs and keep checkstand area clean.
• Answer telephones and comply with corporate policies.
• Support company initiatives and verify EAS tag deactivation.
• Process refunds, exchanges, money orders, bill pay, and gift cards.
• Respond to pedestal activations and maintain integrity of transactions.
• Run vendor reports and assist at the Customer Service Desk as needed.
