Job summary

Michaels Newton, NJ is seeking store team members to deliver friendly customer service, help shoppers locate products, and ensure a fast, accurate checkout experience. You will assist with stocking, truck unloading, and merchandise recovery, manage planograms, and participate in omnichannel processes like Buy Online Pickup in Store and Ship From Store.

This role requires standing, lifting, and flexibility for nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred.
• Must be able to stand for long periods and perform lifting.
• Able to work nights, weekends and early mornings.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions.
• Provide a fast checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards.
• Engage customers on rewards programs and enroll them as appropriate.
• Educate customers about VOC and collect feedback.
• Assist with omni-channel processes (BOPIS, SFS).
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram processes.
• Complete merchandise recovery and maintain in-stock conditions.
• Support shrink and safety programs and adhere to SOPs.
• Interact professionally with customers and colleagues; model company values.
• Cross trained in Custom Framing selling and production.
