Job summary

Kroger is seeking a friendly, reliable Cashier/Checker at our Cincinnati location to deliver outstanding service at the paxton avenue store. You will greet customers, process transactions accurately, and assist with product questions in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include operating the POS system, handling various payment methods, and following all safety, policies and loss-prevention guidelines to ensure a welcoming shopping experience.

Qualifications

• Basic math skills required (counting, addition, subtraction).
• Experience as a Bagger or Courtesy Clerk preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers at the check lane.
• Process transactions quickly, accurately, and efficiently.
• Understand the POS system and handle tenders per policy (cash, checks, credit/debit, SNAP/EBT, coupons).
• Follow loss prevention guidelines and safety procedures.
• Provide product information and help customers find items.
