Job summary

Qualifications

• Knowledge of basic math (counting, addition, and subtraction)
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

• Greet, engage, and assist customers at the check lane.
• Process transactions quickly, accurately, and efficiently.
• Understand POS system and handle tenders per policy (cash, checks, credit, debit, SNAP EBT, WIC, coupons).
• Follow policies on restricted sale items and coupons.
• Ensure pricing accuracy and report discrepancies.
• Adhere to food safety regulations and safety procedures.
• Provide friendly service to customers including minors and seniors.
