Job summary

Huntington is seeking a Customer Experience Banker Non NMLS to serve walk-in customers, helping them meet financial goals by recommending deposits and other banking products. You will handle transactions accurately and balance daily while delivering exceptional service.

You will proactively identify opportunities to grow customer relationships, educate customers on deposits, and collaborate with teammates to deepen connections across banking services. Strong customer service background preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED and 1 year of customer service or military service in an admin/contracting/civil affairs role, or a Bachelor's Degree.
• Preferred: 1+ year customer service in banking/financial services; cash handling.
• Comfort with technology including mobile services and online banking.

Responsibilities

• Providing excellent customer service and resolving customer issues.
• Educating customers on consumer deposit products.
• Proactively identifying opportunities to grow customer relationships through a disciplined sales process, new customer follow-up program, outbound calling, and referrals.
• Educating and referring customers to other areas of the bank to deepen relationships.
• Adhering to operational, security, risk and regulatory policies and procedures.
• Demonstrating acumen in sales, customer service, relationship management, banking, communication and presentation.
