Job summary

Happy State Bank is seeking a Customer Service Representative I (CSR I) in Florida to open new deposit accounts, retain existing relationships, and promote bank products. You will assess customer needs, cross-sell services, and support branch goals while providing friendly, accurate service.

The role may involve acting as Teller or Supervisor as needed, handling inquiries about rates and services, and ensuring compliance with regulations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; 12–18 months related experience and/or training.
• Ability to effectively communicate information to customers and colleagues.
• Mathematical skills to calculate figures such as discounts and percentages.

Responsibilities

• Open new accounts including checking, savings, CDs, IRAs and other products offered by the bank.
• Complies with all applicable regulations, policies and procedures.
• Assess customer needs and cross-sell appropriate products and services.
• Functions as Teller, Sr. Teller or Teller Supervisor as needed.
• Supports attainment of branch goals.
• Refers new business to subsidiaries such as insurance, mortgage and brokerage.
• Resolve customer concerns and ensure long-term problem resolution.
