The First State Bank of the Florida Keys is seeking a Customer Service Representative at the Islamorada Branch to handle customer needs in-branch and a high volume of phone inquiries, delivering quality service.

Salary range is $21-23 per hour, depending on experience and education. The role requires previous banking experience and offers benefits such as health, 401(k) with employer matching, PTO, profit sharing, and tuition reimbursement.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent.
• Previous Banking experience required.
• Customer Service experience.
• Cash Handling experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with routine account-related requests (funds transfers, AFTs, stop payments, inquiries about deposits and service charges).
• Answer questions about ATM and debit card usage and limits; review checking and savings transactions.
• Open new accounts and cross-sell bank products/services per program standards.
• Process consumer loan applications and verify information.
• Research and resolve customer problems; liaise with other bank departments as needed.
• Initiate Reg E disputes for electronic funds transfers and complete required documents.
• Notify customers when checks or debit cards are ready for pickup.
• Serve as backup on teller line and perform ATM maintenance tasks.
