Job summary

CEN is seeking a Customer Service Representative I to retain existing relationships and open new deposit accounts in line with branch goals. The CSR promotes and cross-sells bank products and services to meet customer needs.

Responsibilities include opening accounts, assessing customer needs, cross-selling, handling basic teller duties, and ensuring accurate documentation and compliance training. The role emphasizes customer loyalty and professional service in a fast-paced branch environment.

Qualifications

• High school or GED required.
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members.
• Basic mathematical skills for discounts, rates, and numeric data.

Responsibilities

• Open new accounts including checking, savings, CDs, IRAs and other products offered by the bank.
• Assess customer needs and cross-sell appropriate products and services.
• Provide teller support and perform related duties as needed.
• Ensure compliance with regulations, policies and procedures.
• Maintain accurate documentation and complete required training.
