Job summary

Ingersoll Rand is seeking a Customer Experience Associate to support customer transactions, quotations, order processing, and communication. The role offers exposure to SAP systems, cross-functional collaboration, and ongoing training to build product knowledge.

The position is based at Quincy, IL, Springfield, MO or Sedalia, MO with rare travel. Ideal candidates are detail-oriented, customer-focused, and eager to grow in a structured environment.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Support customer transactions, including quotations, order entry, and delivery coordination under guidance.
• Respond to basic customer inquiries and provide updates on order status and delivery schedules.
• Escalate customer issues to appropriate team members for resolution.
• Collaborate with internal teams to support order processing and customer requests.
• Follow established processes, standard work, and SOPs to complete daily tasks.
• Maintain accurate data entry and documentation within SAP and other systems.
• Utilize tools and systems to track orders and assist with customer communication.
• Identify questions or issues and seek guidance to ensure accurate resolution.
• Participate in onboarding, training, and continuous learning to build product and process knowledge.
• Support team initiatives and contribute to a positive and collaborative work environment.
