Job summary

Family Dollar Stores Of Indiana LLC in South Bend seeks a Customer Service Associate to deliver a great shopping experience. You’ll assist customers with questions and recommendations, manage sales at the register, and help keep the store well stocked.

You will maintain cash security, protect company assets, ensure a clean, safe, and respectful environment, and complete restocking and merchandise recovery as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous retail or service experience preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and read operational documents.
• Must lift 30–50 lbs and stand, walk, and perform physical tasks.
• Excellent customer service and relationship skills required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills required.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at the cash register.
• Maintain cash security and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and unload trucks, stock replenishment.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers and staff.
• Keep store clean and presentable, including bathrooms and floors.
• Other duties as assigned.
