Job summary

Dollar Tree is seeking a Customer Service Associate in Connecticut, Winsted, to deliver a great shopping experience. You will assist customers, handle transactions, keep shelves stocked, and maintain a safe, clean store environment.

The role requires good communication, the ability to lift 30–50 lbs, and prior retail or service experience is preferred. This is a part-time position with opportunities for growth and benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. and perform frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and lifting.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills are required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills are required.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at the cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and assist with unloading trucks and stock replenishment.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and presentable store environment.
