Job summary

AAFES is seeking a Customer Experience Associate for the Hardlines department in Fort Lee, NJ. You will assist guests, stock and label merchandise, and recommend products to enhance satisfaction and loyalty.

Must be available to work any shift between 8 AM and 8 PM. Prior retail experience is preferred, and a high school diploma or equivalent is required.

Job description

Responsible for driving the customer experience through proactive and customer focused behaviors and actions. Actively evaluates customers' needs by listening, providing solutions, and making recommendations to maximize customer satisfaction and Exchange brand loyalty.

Job Qualifications

Completion of high school or the equivalent. Retail experience, demonstrated willingness, and potential for additional responsibility.

YOU MUST BE AVAILABLE TO WORK ANY SHIFT BETWEEN 8AM-8PM. AS A CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE ASSOCIATE IN HARDLINES, YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR ENSURING AN EXCEPTIONAL GUEST EXPERIENCE IN THE HARDLINES DEPARTMENTS. YOU WILL ASSIST CUSTOMERS IN FINDING WHAT THEY ARE LOOKING FOR AND ENSURE HARDLINES IS STOCKED WITH THE PRODUCTS CUSTOMERS WANT. YOU'LL KNOW WHICH PRODUCTS WILL MEET CUSTOMER'S NEEDS AND STAY UP TO DATE ON TRENDS. WITH YOUR KNOWLEDGE AND HELPFUL SUGGESTIONS, CUSTOMERS WILL CONTINUE TO SHOP THE EXCHANGE. YOU WILL PRIORITIZE CUSTOMER NEEDS OVER TASKS AND GROW SALES BY MAINTAINING MERCHANDISE, SIGNS AND LABELS ON THE SALES FLOOR.
