Job summary

Aafes is seeking a Customer Experience Associate – Apparel & Accessories at the Exchange to help customers discover outfits and accessories with trend-savvy advice. You will greet customers, assess needs, and guide selections to create complete looks while delivering friendly, efficient service.

The role emphasizes flexible scheduling, training across areas, and a path to develop within a DoD-based retail environment; prior retail experience is valued and customer focus is essential.

Qualifications

• Completion of high school or the equivalent.
• Retail experience preferred.
• Must possess a welcoming and helpful attitude toward customers and other team members.
• Excellent communication skills and basic computer skills.
• Ability to learn and adapt to current technology needs.
• Must be able to cross-train and work in other areas of the store.

As a Customer Experience Expert in Apparel & Accessories, your eye for trend will help our customers discover new looks and bring their definition of style to life with confidence. Your love for fashion and excitement to share your apparel and accessory expertise and tips will help our customers find the perfect outfit for every-day and special occasions, while also helping them find the perfect accessory to complete their look. Our customers will find it easy and fun to shop apparel and accessories thanks to your expertise and trend-savvy advice.

• Acknowledge every waiting customer as soon as they arrive to the apparel/accessory area to let them know you'll be right with them
• Listen to customer needs; ask appropriate follow-up questions to ensure you offer appropriate pieces that meet the specific need of the customer
• Ensure customers have an extraordinary experience while shopping
• Complete transactions accurately and efficiently while engaging customers in appropriate conversation

Job Qualifications

SCHEDULE: NIGHTS ONLY, MONDAY, FRIDAY, SATURDAY, (1530-2030) & SUNDAY (1330-1830, TUESDAY, WEDNESDAY & THURSDAY AS NEEDED.
