Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores INC is seeking a Customer Service Associate to join our team and deliver a great shopping experience for every customer. You will assist customers with questions, manage sales at the register, and help keep the store stocked and orderly.

This role requires a high school diploma or equivalent and prior retail or service experience is preferred. You must be able to lift 30–50 lbs, stand for long periods, and communicate clearly.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior retail/guest service experience preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and read operating documents.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs and stand/walk frequently.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at the cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help unload trucks; stock replenishment.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment.
• Maintain cleanliness across the store including restrooms.
• Other duties as assigned.
