Job summary

Family Dollar LLC is seeking a Customer Service Associate to deliver a great shopping experience. You will assist customers, process transactions, and help maintain a clean, well-stocked store in Golden Valley, MN.

This role requires a high school diploma or equivalent and prior retail/customer service experience is preferred. You will lift 30–50 lbs and work in a fast-paced environment while providing friendly service to customers and teammates.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store customer service is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents.
• Must be able to lift 30–50 lbs and perform frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and lifting.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Process sales transactions at the cash register.
• Maintain cash security and protect company assets.
• Keep the store stocked, recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and unload trucks; replenish stock per productivity standards.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers and staff.
• Maintain cleanliness of the store, bathrooms, floors, and overall presentation.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
