Job summary

Family Dollar Stores Of New York LLC is seeking a Customer Service Associate to deliver a great shopping experience. You will assist customers, handle transactions, and keep the store clean and well-stocked, while protecting assets and working with the store team.

The role requires strong customer service skills, the ability to lift 30–50 lbs, and the willingness to work part-time at our Beacon, NY location. Training and opportunities to grow are offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Retail or service industry experience preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and read operational documents.
• Must be able to lift 30–50 lbs and perform frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and lifting.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Able to work with team and leadership.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at the cash register.
• Maintain cash security and protect company assets.
• Keep the store stocked and recover merchandise; receive shipments.
• Maintain cleanliness and restock bathrooms; sweep and mop floors.
• Provide friendly interactions with customers and associates.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
