Job summary

Family Dollar Stores Of Maryland LLC is seeking a Customer Service Associate to deliver a great shopping experience by assisting customers, handling sales transactions at the register, maintaining merchandise stock, and ensuring the store stays clean and organized for every visitor.

You will help unload trucks, replenish stock, and recover merchandise while upholding safety, friendliness, and professional interactions with customers and team leaders; part-time, on-site role with benefits

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Retail/customer service experience highly preferred in similar environments.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents.
• Must be able to lift 30–50 lbs and perform physical tasks.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions while working assigned cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Unload trucks, replenish stock, and follow productivity standards.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers and staff.
• Maintain cleanliness throughout the store, including bathrooms and floors.
• Other duties as assigned.
