Bass Pro Shops in Bowling Green, KY is seeking a friendly Greeter to welcome every guest and assist with front-end tasks. You will greet customers, promote CLUB Membership, In-Store Pickup, and other programs, check in returns and vendor visitors, and provide promotional materials for events while keeping the entrance area tidy and safe.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma, customer service experience, and strong communication skills; must be able to adapt to new processes and work

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in a customer service environment preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to adapt to new processes and procedures.
• Self-motivated and able to work unsupervised.

Responsibilities

• Greet all customers in a friendly and outgoing manner.
• Promote programs including CLUB Membership, VOC, and In-Store Pickup.
• Model professional appearance per dress code and maintain welcoming body language.
• Check in customers’ merchandise for returns.
• Check in vendor representatives and manage visitor logs.
• Inform customers about events, sales, and promotions with materials.
• Maintain a clean, tidy, and safe entryway and work area.
• Assist firearm check-in by notifying trained Outfitters; greeters do not handle firearms.
• All other duties as assigned.
