Job summary

Bass Pro Shops is seeking a friendly Greeter to welcome customers and provide prompt information and directions in-store. This role emphasizes outstanding service, program promotion, and maintaining safety and appearance standards.

The position supports front-end operations, including event promotions, returns processing, and visitor/vendor check-ins. Part-time role with benefits is available; strong communication and organizational skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Able to work independently with initiative.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers in a friendly and outgoing manner.
• Actively promote programs including CLUB Membership, VOC and In-Store Pickup.
• Model Bass Pro Shops brand standards and dress code.
• Check in customers’ merchandise for returns.
• Check in vendor representatives and manage visitor logs/badges.
• Inform customers about events, sales and promotions.
• Keep entryway and work area clean, tidy and safe.
• Assist firearms check-in with designated Outfitter per SOP; do not handle firearms.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
