Job summary

International Paper is seeking a Customer Account Coordinator in Salinas, CA or Gilroy, CA. You will act as the primary point of contact for customers, ensuring a world-class experience while coordinating orders, inventory, and communications across operations and sales teams.

The role requires 3 years of industry experience or an undergraduate degree and strong proficiency in Excel/Word. Salaried, full-time position with comprehensive benefits and growth opportunities within IP.

Qualifications

• 3 years of industry experience with a high school diploma/GED or an undergraduate degree.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word.
• Strong communication and customer-focus capabilities.
• Able to manage multiple tasks and maintain accuracy under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary point of contact to customers, ensuring world-class experience.
• Translate orders to manufacturing production orders and ensure timely materials.
• Communicate with internal/external customers on status, quotes, changes and confirmations.
• Monitor customer inventory levels and resolve discrepancies or overdue accounts.
• Coordinate with operations, shipping and maintenance to align on plant activities impacting orders.
• Provide data reporting of orders, inventory and delivery status to management and customers.
