Job summary

International Paper in Lynchburg, VA seeks a Customer Account Coordinator to manage orders and customer relationships, coordinating with Sales, Manufacturing and Shipping to ensure on-time deliveries.

You will estimate and enter orders, work with production using the KIWI system, and maintain customer data while communicating status, quotes and changes with accuracy. This is a full-time, salaried role at IP.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.
Preferred experience in a manufacturing environment.
Experience using an ERP system to manage customer and order data.
Experience in the corrugated box industry preferred.
Minimum two years of customer relations experience; industry-specific preferred.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Strong basic math skills.

Responsibilities

Communicate with customers, estimate and enter orders, and support sales, manufacturing and shipping to ensure on-time deliveries.
Take customer orders directly from customers or account managers.
Place orders on a timely basis for purchases of materials and supplies used in production.
Communicate with customers regarding order status, quotations, order changes and confirmations, and inquiries.
Process purchase orders, coordinate account credits, and maintain customer data.
Work with production staff using the KIWI system to meet delivery deadlines.
