W-Neweb Corporation is seeking a Customer Engineer to join our team in a customer-facing role. You will work directly with customers and translate requirements to our engineering team in Taiwan. You will capture device logs, troubleshoot field issues, and contribute to first-level diagnostics and action plans.

Hands-on work includes building and maintaining a test rack in the lab. The role requires broad technical knowledge in DOCSIS networks, streaming video, 4G/5G cellular and WiFi in consumer

Qualifikationen

• BS/MS degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Experience with TCP/IP v4/v6 and basic test automation.
• Hands-on testing with DOCSIS 3.1+ and fiber.
• Willingness to travel and work with cross-functional teams.
• Experience with DOCSIS networks or cable modems is a plus.

Aufgaben

• Design, test and launch DOCSIS CPE with R&D and QA.
• Provide post-sales technical support and issue escalation.
• Operate and configure CMTS, cable modems, headend/edge equipment.
• Develop test plans for WiFi, DOCSIS, video streaming, and network products.
• Capture logs, troubleshoot field issues, and draft diagnostics.
