Job summary

The Children's Place in Oxon Hill, MD is seeking a Sales Associate to support the Store Leadership Team in achieving company goals. You will deliver excellent customer service, share product knowledge, and apply effective selling techniques to drive sales.

Responsibilities include greeting customers, promoting current promotions, maintaining merchandise presentation, stock levels, and a clean, safe store and backroom.

Responsibilities

• Support Store Leadership Team to achieve company goals and initiatives
• Greet and acknowledge customers while providing the appropriate level of service
• Communicate value and promotions to customers and assist with out-of-stock items
• Address customer concerns with sound judgment
• Apply selling skills to positively impact conversion
• Provide fast, friendly service at the cash wrap and explain PLACE Card benefits
• Maintain stock levels and ensure representation of sizes and styles
• Follow presentation, signage, and display standards
• Keep stockroom clean and organized and maintain a safe environment
• Perform daily housekeeping and adhere to Loss Prevention procedures
• Inform leadership of maintenance needs to ensure a safe store environment
• Contribute to store goals through focused, well-managed effort
• Process stock efficiently as needed
