Job summary

The Children’s Place in Silver Spring, Maryland is hiring a Sales Associate to join the store team. You will support the Store Leadership Team, deliver excellent customer service, and help maintain product knowledge, promotions, and stock accuracy.

You will greet customers, manage transactions at the cash wrap, and contribute to a clean, organized sales floor and backroom environment. Weekend and evening availability is needed.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Previous retail experience preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with service and inquiries.
• Greet customers and provide level of service.
• Explain promotions and product features, handle stock and replenishment.
• Maintain merchandise presentation and signage.
• Operate cash wrap with accuracy and efficiency.
• Maintain neat and safe backroom/storage.
• Support loss prevention procedures and safety rules.
