Job summary

The Children's Place in Oxon Hill, MD is seeking a Sales Associate to support the Store Leadership Team in achieving company goals. You will deliver excellent customer service, product knowledge, and effective selling techniques while keeping the store clean and merchandise well presented.

You will greet customers, handle cash at the counter, promote the PLACE Card, maintain stock levels, and follow Loss Prevention procedures.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Previous retail experience preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers and respond with urgency to needs.
• Greet customers and provide appropriate service.
• Explain value and promotions; offer solutions for out of stock items.
• Address customer concerns with sound judgment.
• Contribute to conversion through selling skills.
• Provide fast, friendly cashwrap service and educate about PLACE Card.
• Maintain stock levels and size/style representation.
• Follow standards of presentation, signage, and display.
• Maintain neat stockroom; ensure customer-ready environment.
• Perform daily housekeeping to company standard.
• Support loss prevention procedures.
• Inform leadership of maintenance needs.
• Contribute to store goals.
