Job summary

Houchens Food Group is seeking a Floor Associate to uphold the company’s core value of Amaze Every Customer Every Time. You will engage customers, determine needs, and project requirements while maintaining a clean, organized, and fully stocked department across the store.

The role requires teamwork, flexibility including evenings and weekends, and a proactive approach to customer service. You will assist in loading/unloading, stocking merchandise, and supporting management in daily priorities.

Qualifications

• Team player with experience in retail.
• Bilingual Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Unload trucks and stock merchandise; maintain department.
• Execute daily goals with urgency and attention to detail.
• Work as part of a retail team; participate in daily huddles.
• Remove promotional bins and price tags after events.
• Restock displays; monitor end caps and side wings.
• Handle non-stock special orders with manager approval.
• Prevent shoplifting; provide excellent customer service.
• Greet customers and assist in all departments.
• Promote Ace Rewards program and promotions.
• Wear radio/ headset for communication.
• Assist with large/heavy items and offer red shopping baskets.
• Assist in training peers.
• Others as directed.
