Job summary

Goodwill of KYOWVA is seeking a Retail Associate to deliver a positive shopping experience while supporting mission-driven programs. This role assists with customer service, merchandise processing, stocking, and maintaining a clean, organized store environment.

The position teams with donors and customers to help generate revenue for job training and employment services. The ideal candidate enjoys working with customers, is dependable, and can adapt to flexible hours.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• One to three months of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to provide respectful, supportive service to individuals of all backgrounds.
• Able to work flexible hours based on organizational needs.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with friendly service, product knowledge, and suggestive selling.
• Stock shelves, counters, and tables with merchandise.
• Maintain a clean, organized store environment and assist with donation doors.
• Assist with hands-on training for clients assigned to the store.
• Process goods for placement in the store and rotate stock for inventory.
