Job summary

Responsibilities include cashiering, price discrepancy logging, checkstand upkeep, refunds, exchanges, money orders, and handling lottery and licenses where applicable. Must be reliable, team‑oriented, and able to work weekends in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 18/19 years age depending on location.
• Six months cashier experience to work at Customer Service Desk.
• Ability to pass drug test.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work weekends regularly, any shift, and overtime as needed.
• Ability to organize/prioritize tasks.
• Accuracy/attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and encourage associates to deliver excellent customer service.
• Perform cashier functions including open/close register, ring sales, complete tender transactions, bag merchandise, money drops and produce codes.
• Complete file maintenance log for price discrepancies.
• Maintain cleanliness of checkstand area.
• Answer telephones and follow company policies.
• Promote and follow Company initiatives.
• Verify EAS tags are deactivated or removed from products at POS; respond to pedestal activations as necessary.
• Maintain all store accounting functions and prepare bank deposits of excess funds.
