Job summary

Responsibilities

• Greet, engage, and assist customers in the store.
• Process transactions quickly, accurately, and efficiently at the check lane.
• Operate the POS system and handle cash, checks, credit/debit, and loyalty offers per policy.
• Adhere to cash handling limits, prevent loss, and follow safety guidelines.
• Follow guidelines for restricted sale items (Alcohol, Tobacco, DVDs).
• Report pricing discrepancies and follow up with proper channels.
• Stay current with ads and promotions; maintain adherence to food safety regulations.
• Identify unsafe conditions and notify management; assist with equipment maintenance as needed.
• Answer questions about products and help customers find items across the store.
