Job summary

Goodwill of Central & Northern Arizona is seeking a team-oriented individual to operate the register, process payments, and encourage donations at the point of sale. You will help set prices, maintain store standards, and greet customers to deliver a positive shopping experience.

The role emphasizes reliable attendance, strong customer service, and ability to work with English-language instructions and teamwork within a store environment.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service experience.
• Strong math skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to communicate in English clearly, both written and spoken.
• Experience with POS systems and cash handling preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate POS and process payments accurately.
• Ask customers for cash donations at POS.
• Prices goods using merchandise identifiers or seek help from a supervisor.
• Complete closing procedures as required.
• Maintain regular attendance and greet customers.
• Keep sales floor clean and organized per standards.
• Stock merchandise in assigned areas and assist customers.
