Job summary

Northwest Bank Lewiston branch is seeking a customer-focused teller to support daily financial transactions and provide exceptional service to our customers. You will be part of a retail network team, greeting customers, processing transactions, and identifying referral opportunities for suitable banking solutions.

Role requires the ability to balance cash, learn bank products, and comply with security and procedural guidelines, with evening and weekend hours as scheduled.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Cash handling experience preferred.
• Banking and/or retail experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers and visitors with questions, problem resolution, and other needs; inform of product/service features.
• Balance teller drawer daily and participate in office meetings and balancing tasks.
• Greet customers and resolve issues, taking ownership of customer concerns.
• Deliver on Northwest star experience and educate customers on financial wellness through in-person, phone, and email interactions.
• Protect bank by following security, risk, and operational procedures.
