Job summary

Michaels is seeking a Sales Manager at our Columbia, MO store to lead a high-performing selling culture and drive strong sales and customer satisfaction. You will oversee front-end operations, coach a team, manage SOP adherence, and ensure strong omni-channel service including BOPIS and Same Day Delivery.

You will work to promote the Loyalty Rewards Program, manage in-store events, and partner with frame shop operations where applicable. A 3+ year retail leadership background is required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years retail leadership experience.
• Experience leading front-end and service operations.
• Ability to coach and develop team members.
• Familiarity with POS and Self-Checkout systems.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager in leading SOPs and company programs.
• Ensure execution of policies and standards, holding team accountable.
• Model and coach customer experience and selling behaviors.
• Provide Manager-on-Duty coverage and oversee store operations.
• Promote loyalty programs and drive omni-channel service.
• Coach team in Knit & Sew Shop and Cut Bar operations.
