Job summary

CITITRENDS, Inc. is seeking a Sales Associate to deliver excellent customer service, build product knowledge, and contribute to a positive retail culture in a fast-paced environment.

You will process transactions, assist with price changes, maintain the sales floor, follow loss-prevention procedures, and partner with Store Management to ensure safety and a neat store.

A high school diploma or equivalent is required, and the schedule may include nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends.
• Ability to perform mathematical calculations such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and percentages.

Responsibilities

• Process freight and assist with price changes/markdowns.
• Balance cash register according to company policy.
• Provide courteous customer service and greet customers.
• Explain exchange/refund policies to customers.
• Assist with loss prevention and report theft or discrepancies.
• Maintain store appearance and housekeeping per policy.
• Assist management in merchandising the sales floor.
• Follow safety procedures and wear a name tag.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
