Job summary

Michaels in Northborough, MA is hiring a Store Team Member to assist customers, keep the store stocked, and provide a fast, friendly checkout experience. You will unload trucks, stock shelves, and support store operations while promoting the Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards.

The role requires standing for long periods, moving throughout the store, and following SOPs. Evening and weekend shifts may be required with potential overtime.

Qualifications

• Retail or customer service experience preferred.
• Able to stand for long periods and move throughout the store.
• Ability to perform cash handling to standards.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions.
• Provide fast and friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards.
• Engage customers on the benefits of the Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards and complete enrollments.
• Educate customers on the Voice of Customer (VOC) survey.
• Assist with Omni channel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS).
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram (POGs) processes.
• Complete merchandise recovery and maintenance including returns and go backs; keep store well-merchandised and in stock.
• Perform Store In Stock Optimization (SISO) and AD set duties as assigned.
• Support shrink and safety programs.
• Adhere to SOPs and Company policies; interact positively with customers and team members.
• Cross trained in Custom Framing selling and production.
