Job summary

Wolf River Community Bank in Atlanta, GA is seeking a Retail Banking Manager to lead the branch retail department and elevate the customer experience, aligning banking services with client needs.

You will supervise a team, ensure compliance with policies, and act as the Universal Banker for new accounts and Head Teller, while fostering lasting relationships and driving branch profitability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, administration, or a related field.
• 3–5 years in Retail Banking.
• 3–5 years in a supervisory role; strongly preferred.
• Strong banking industry knowledge.
• Excellent leadership, communication, sales, and customer service skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Delegate and direct service tasks, monitor the progress of current projects, and manage team members to ensure objectives and goals are met.
• Serve as the face of Wolf River Community Bank’s assigned branch location, providing exceptional customer service while handling all front‑line client needs and ensuring compliance with all retail policies and procedures.
• Act as the Universal Banker for new accounts and Head Teller.
• Provide WOW experiences both internally and externally to support the servicing of customers, including retail and business customers, deposits, and lending.
• Manage team development through ongoing coaching, training, and performance feedback, including the Bank’s performance review process.
• Handle customer complaints or concerns quickly and professionally to maintain good relationships and ensure a WOW customer experience.
• Assist with or perform administrative tasks such as managing and updating invoices, processing new orders, and tracking inventory.
• Monitor department issues and client complaints to create methods to lessen recurring issues.
• Audit work and customer service to ensure high standards, efficiency, and productivity goals are met.
• Train new employees who join the Bank.
• Maintain a strong working knowledge of industry regulations, restrictions, and laws; ensure adherence to these regulations and remain current on industry standards and innovations, materials, tools, and processes.
• Support branch profitability and growth.
• Act as a steward of the Bank’s core values, driving excellence, delivering tangible results, possessing a hunger for knowledge, and cultivating growth in others.
