Job summary

Sandia Resort & Casino in Albuquerque, NM is seeking a Retail Sales Associate to deliver guest service, promote merchandise, and process sales at the point of sale. You will help guests with product information and ensure accurate transactions in a fast-paced environment.

Under the Front Office Manager's supervision, you will assist with restocking, merchandising, and maintaining clean, organized displays while contributing to a friendly, team-oriented atmosphere and meeting performance

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required.
Two years of retail experience preferred.
Pass a stringent background investigation.
Pre-employment and random drug screening.
Must obtain NM Alcohol Server’s License before hire.

Responsibilities

Greet guests cordially within one minute.
Promote inventory and assist with special orders; participate in monthly sales incentives.
Work with team to achieve business goals.
Provide product information on arts, crafts, apparel, jewelry, pottery, tobacco.
Process sales via POS; handle cash, travelers checks, credit cards, shipping, and receipts.
Direct patrons to appropriate office for unresolved issues.
Answer phones and record messages accurately.
Restock, merchandise, label prices, keep areas clean.
Maintain brochures and promotional materials.
Attend shifts on schedule per Attendance Policy.
