Hy-Vee is seeking a Courtesy Clerk to support store operations and deliver friendly, helpful service. You will assist customers, bag purchases, transport items, stock shelves, and keep the store clean and welcoming.

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt, friendly customer service by greeting customers with a smile, learning their names, and making each visit great.
• Package customer purchases and assist in transporting them to their vehicle.
• Bring carts in from the parking lot and organize cart corrals.
• Clean registers, restrooms, break room, and backroom; sweep and mop floors as needed.
• Stock, face, rotate merchandise; understand shelf tags and locations.
• Pull product forward to maintain a full, organized appearance.
• Check prices on products as needed.
• Maintain front-end supplies such as bags and receipt paper.
• Assist in training new courtesy clerks.
• Deliver product to customers and assist in other departments as needed within wage guidelines.
• Shovel, salt, and sand walkways when required.
• Work with teammates to ensure customer satisfaction.
