Job summary

Hy-Vee is seeking a Courtesy Clerk to support customers from the register to the car, keep the store clean, stocked, and welcoming. You will package purchases, assist customers, transport items, stock shelves, and help train new team members. The role emphasizes teamwork, active work, and consistent customer engagement.

Night and weekend shifts may be required. Employment is contingent upon pre-employment drug screening. Hourly wage ranges from $13.00 to $16.25 based on experience and location.

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt, friendly customer service by greeting customers with a smile and assisting them throughout their visit.
• Package purchases and help transport items to customers' vehicles.
• Maintain store cleanliness, restock shelves, and keep front-end area organized.
• Assist in other departments as needed and participate in training new courtesy clerks.
