Job summary

Citizens in New Jersey seeks a friendly teller to greet customers, demonstrate how to use our mobile app and ATMs, and complete simple transactions. You will help clients achieve their financial goals through personalized advice and referrals to Bankers.

We require a High School diploma or GED and 1 year of customer experience, with strong listening and communication skills. The role includes weekends/evenings and pays hourly with full benefits.

Qualifications

• High School degree or GED
• Minimum of 6 months experience processing transactions (cash and/or digital payments)
• Minimum of 1 year demonstrated customer experience, recommending and referring products and services to customers
• Strong listening and communication skills
• Ability to effectively ask questions and identify needs to enhance and develop a long-term customer relationship
• Ability to problem solve and provide solutions to customer issues
• Customer-centric to deliver exceptional service
• Comfortable with using digital technology to support the delivery of business goals
• Ability to work branch hours, which can include weekends and evenings

Responsibilities

• Greet customers in lobby and assist with transactions using mobile app or ATMs
• Provide personalized advice and connect customers to Bankers for next steps
• Educate customers on Citizens products and benefits and respond to questions
• Follow all financial policies including cash handling and regulations
