Meridian Bank is seeking a Retail Branch Associate to support branch operations with a sales focus on deposit growth in the Doylestown/Blue Bell area and manage an account portfolio while delivering excellent customer service.

The role involves participating in sales campaigns, outbound outreach, and assisting in daily branch activities, with a strong emphasis on compliance, product knowledge, and community involvement.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in Finance or related field; or equivalent work experience.
• 1–3 years related banking experience or equivalent education and experience.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Previous sales and customer service experience in a retail banking environment.
• High degree of attention to detail and ability to multitask.
• Ability to work all hours the branch is open.

Responsibilities

• Provides exceptional customer service by promptly resolving issues and answering questions.
• Participates in sales campaigns to achieve goals while maintaining quality.
• Engages in outbound calling to establish new business.
• Meets with and calls prospects/customers and understands their financial goals.
• Educates customers on benefits and value of solutions and cross-sell where appropriate.
• Maintains strong product knowledge and cross-selling aptitude.
• Assists in branch coverage at Meridian Bank locations as needed.
• Processes transactions accurately and in line with policies.
• Keeps up with compliance regulations and bank policies.
• Builds relationships with customers/prospects and coordinates with other departments.
• Participates in community events and sponsorships.
• Upholds Meridian Bank’s Core Values in daily work.
• Coordinates tasks to ensure smooth information flow across teams.
