Job summary

Woodforest National Bank is seeking a Banker to serve as a frontline ambassador, building retail customer relationships through exceptional service and proactive marketing of banking solutions.

You will handle teller tasks and account openings while maintaining regulatory compliance, delivering the Woodforest Experience, and supporting digital tools for a modern, convenient banking experience in a busy Texas branch.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of relevant retail sales and/or customer service experience.
• Prior in-store retail banking experience preferred but not required.
• Demonstrated willingness to accept coaching and feedback to improve performance.
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work flexible or extended hours based on retail branch needs.

Responsibilities

• Identify customer needs and recommend banking solutions.
• Achieve individual sales goals through referrals and marketing outreach.
• Resolve customer inquiries at first contact with internal partnerships as needed.
• Maintain operational excellence in transaction processing and account opening.
• Explain complex banking solutions in simple terms.
• Deliver Woodforest Experience with warm, personalized interactions.
