Job summary

Drees Homes is seeking a Customer Care Representative in Dallas, TX to proactively resolve warranty issues after closing and manage work orders in assigned communities.

Responsibilities include completing warranty requests, following up with vendors, evaluating complaints, and conducting 60-day and yearly orientations. Strong communication and organization are essential, with on-site schedule Monday–Friday 8 AM–5 PM and additional hours as needed.

Qualifications

• High School diploma required; construction degree a plus.
• Minimum 1 year of residential home experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to handle stressful customer situations professionally.

Responsibilities

• Complete assigned warranty service requests within policy guidelines.
• Follow up on warranty requests to vendors/contractors for prompt service.
• Evaluate customer complaints and report solutions.
• Conduct 60-day and yearly Customer Orientations.
• Keep the customer care system up-to-date and accurate.
• Recommend changes to improve processes.
• Monitor and respond to email and voicemail daily.
• Comply with the "Warranty On Call" procedure.

Responsibilities/Qualifications

Drees Homes, one of the largest privately-owned homebuilders in the Nation, is seeking candidates for the position of Customer CareRepresentative in Dallas, TX. In this position you will be responsible for pro-actively solving customer issues in assigned communities after the closing of the home and completion of all assigned work orders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Complete assigned warranty service requests within the guidelines of company policy
• Follow up on all warranty requests to vendors/contractors to ensure prompt service to the customer
• Evaluate all customer complaints and report solutions
• Conduct 60-day and yearly Customer Orientations
• Keep the customer care system up-to-date and accurate
• Recommend changes that will improve processes
• Monitor and respond to email and voice mail messages daily
• Comply with the "Warranty On Call" procedure

Knowledge and Skills:

• Ability to diplomatically and effectively handle stressful customer situations, including conflict resolution
• Excellentverbal and written communication skills with internal and external customers
• Generalknowledge of residentialconstruction and the homebuilding process
• Basic computer skills, experience using an iPad preferred
• Must be organized, detail-minded, and adaptable
• Self-driven and able to work independently
• Ability to follow through to a satisfactory conclusion
• Customer oriented, outgoing, dependable & ethical
• Punch-outskills, hands on repair skills - paint, drywall, carpentry, etc. helpful
• Problem solving abilities with excellent follow-up skills
• Must have reliable transportation
• High School diploma is required; Construction or other related college degree a plus
• At least 1 year residential home experience required
• Previous customer care experience preferred

The typical schedule of this position will be Monday – Friday 8 AM to 5 PM, plus additional hours as necessary.
