Job summary

Drees Homes in San Antonio is seeking a Customer Care Representative to join our San Antonio Division. You will complete warranty service requests, follow up with vendors, and help ensure prompt, high-quality service for homeowners.

The role emphasizes customer care, communication, and problem-solving. A high school diploma is required; construction knowledge and a willingness to train are pluses. Typical schedule is Monday–Friday 8 AM–5 PM with potential additional hours.

Qualifications

High School diploma is required; Construction or other related college degree a plus
Must have reliable transportation
Complete assigned warranty service requests within policy
Follow up on warranty requests to ensure prompt service
Evaluate customer complaints and report solutions
Conduct home presentations and 90-day follow ups
Keep the customer care system up-to-date
Recommend changes to improve processes
Monitor and respond to email and voice mail daily
Comply with Warranty On Call procedure
Ability to handle stressful situations with diplomacy
Excellent verbal and written communication with customers
General knowledge of residential construction and homebuilding
Basic computer skills and experience using an iPad
Organized, detail-minded, adaptable
Self-driven and able to work independently
Follow through to a satisfactory conclusion
Customer oriented, outgoing, dependable
Punch-out and hands-on repair skills helpful
Problem solving with strong follow-up
Previous customer care experience preferred

We're seeking customer centric individuals and we are willing to train the right candidate! This is an important position within Drees Homes. Basic computer skills, experience using an iPad preferred
Must be organized, detail-minded, and adaptable
Self-driven and able to work independently
Ability to follow through to a satisfactory conclusion
Customer oriented, outgoing, dependable & environmental
Punch-out skills, hands on repair skills - paint, drywall, carpentry, etc. helpful
Problem solving abilities with excellent follow-up skills
