Job summary

Fifth Third Bank in Warren, Michigan is seeking a CSR/Teller to provide exceptional customer service, handle daily cash transactions, and refer customers to bankers for consultative conversations.

You will perform daily office duties with the platform team, maintain balancing records, stay up to date on bank policies, and protect customer information while delivering a positive experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED.
• Work involves extensive cash handling.
• Work involves contact with the public, adhere to dress code guidelines.
• Must interact comfortably and confidently with the public.
• Position requires knowledge of retail policies and procedures, to perform the essential duties.
• Work requires the ability to take initiative and demonstrate sound judgment in decision-making and problem resolution.

• Need to have flexibility in scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Customer Experience: Deepen relationships and guide customers to meet financial needs; Provide follow up to customer questions and address issues; Be responsive with correspondence to keep lines of communication open; Maintain customer information confidentiality; Follow the Bancorp Code of Business Conduct and Ethics.
• Operations: Perform daily office responsibilities with the platform team; Maintain a balancing record and correct outages; Keep knowledge of bank policies and procedures up to date; Handle customer problems with professionalism and escalate when needed; Demonstrate sound judgment in decision making.
• Referrals: Identify customer needs and refer to Bankers and partners for consultative conversations; Build knowledge of Retail products and services; Use tools for tracking referrals.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
