Job summary

P. Gagnon & Son is seeking a customer service-focused team member in Maine to handle calls, support billing, and coordinate scheduling.

You’ll work close with the General Manager, service center, and delivery teams to ensure accurate, timely responses that build long-term relationships and community trust. You’ll handle inquiries, resolve issues, and participate in campaigns to retain customers while keeping crisp records across multiple systems.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of professional customer service experience.
• Comfort handling phone-based conversations about service, billing, and scheduling.
• Ability to track details accurately across multiple systems and documents.
• Reliable attendance and the ability to follow established processes.

Responsibilities

• Handle inbound and outbound customer calls with clear, respectful, solution-focused communication.
• Support customer growth and retention by resolving concerns, following up, and closing issues.
• Participate in outbound campaigns to retain customers and collect on past-due balances.
• Assist with daily delivery and service operations by resolving routing issues and updating accounts.
• Provide administrative support including documentation, reporting, and billing/forecasting accuracy.
• Assist with accounts payable processing and other office operations as needed.
